SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM

First United Methodist Church Mountain Home

The FUMC Scholarship Program exists to offer financial help to deserving young members or constituents of FUMC MH who plan to attend an accredited college or vocational school. Currently, we are serving students in the freshmen year only. * Constituents (non-members) need a recommendation by the Youth Director.

The scholarship amount for this academic year is $800.00 to be paid in two equal amounts of. $400.00 each semester. Checks for the scholarship sum will be made out directly to the recipient 's school and mailed to the registrar of the designated school.

TO APPLY: Submit the completed application form to the Church Office by July 1st, or by MAY 1st IF APPLICANT WISHES TO HAVE THIS AWARD ANNOUNCED AT AWARD CEREMONIES.

Your application will not be complete until we have recieved a copy of your college acceptance letter. 

Please email Kyra Anthony, Director of Student Ministries, and Alisa Hale, Director of Finance, a copy of your college acceptance letter!

Submission Due Dates

Completed Applications are due by July 1st. Applicants who wish to have this scholarship award announced at the High School Award Ceremony must submit their application by MAY 1st. 

To recieve payment for second semester scholarship grade reports are due to Alisa Hale by January 15th.
